MILWAUKEE, WI – Milwaukee Tool continues to deliver disruptive innovation with the introduction of the next generation of right angle drill performance for electrical rough-in – the M18 FUEL™ HOLE HAWG® Right Angle Drill. Designed from the ground up with an upgraded POWERSTATE™ Brushless Motor, improved REDLINK PLUS™ electronics, and REDLITHIUM™ HIGH-OUTPUT Batteries, the new M18 FUEL™ HOLE HAWG® has the power to provide electricians and professional tradesmen with the fastest rough-ins and lightest right angle drill in the industry.

While the new M18 FUEL™ HOLE HAWG® looks like its predecessor, the POWERSTATE™ Brushless Motor has been upgraded to deliver more power in high speed applications. The tool’s REDLINK PLUS™ Electronics have also been optimized to increase power under load and increased capacity without bogging down. When equipped with Milwaukee’s M18™ REDLITHIUM™ HIGH OUTPUT™ XC6.0 Battery, the M18 FUEL™ HOLE HAWG® can drill up to (220) 7/8” holes in SPF lumber on a single charge; increasing productivity and eliminating downtime.

In addition, the 2808 model will still feature a QUIK-LOK™ Chuck to offer keyless and more efficient one-handed bit changes for most 7/16” flat or groove shank bits commonly found on augers, self-feed bits, and hole saws. The second generation of the M18 FUEL™ Hole Hawg® Right Angle Drill is optimized for electricians, while a second generation of the M18 FUEL™ Super Hawg™, which is optimized for plumbers, was introduced in the Fall of 2019.
